Kuantan Waterfront Resort City (KWRC) is a 202-hectare mixed-use seafront development in Tanjung Lumpur, about 2 km from Kuantan, the capital of Pahang. Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and Imperium Residence were completed there in 2020, and Sea Crestz by EXSIM is one of its residential projects.
What is Kuantan Waterfront Resort City?
KWRC is planned as a large mixed-use destination on the Tanjung Lumpur seafront, facing the South China Sea. When Swiss-Belhotel announced its Kuantan hotel in 2019, it described KWRC as a 202-hectare development featuring a retail mall, a conference centre, residences, a healthcare hub, a marina and leisure facilities.
Those are masterplan components. The first buildings, Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan (27 floors, 366 rooms) and Imperium Residence Tower A (27 floors), were completed in 2020. Other parts of the plan are still to come, so ask us for the latest on what is open.
